I've had no time to post this week, been busy busy. This weekend was lovely, I booked Friday off work and went to Reading to see my boyfriend, I dragged him around afew shops, then we went to get are cinema tickets to see Step Brothers, then to Wagamama (I love Vue for its 2 for 1 on mains!!, then more shops. Before we went to the cinema we got cheapo 18p tortilla chips, cookies and drinks from Salisbury's to snack on in the film. I must say I really liked the film, it was so funny. On Saturday morning we watched the reallyyyyy old batman movie, then watched Hitch in the afternoon and went out for a walk. I got home late last night and slept in till about 1 this afternoon, and went in to town today. I got the new issue of Lula, and some toiletries. When i got home I did plan on tidying and posting on here, instead i put on sex and the city and fell asleep!
Here's what i wore today
Tee-Primark
Necklace-Evans
Skirt-H&M
Brogues-Primark
My new H&M skirt!!!!! I love it, it's really full and lovely, also it has pockets.
I took these next pictures after i woke up about an hour ago, hence the roughness!
Last weekend it was my best friend's birthday so we went out, it was such a fun night, dancing like a loon.

Love In My Tummy
How yummy are these Miss Selfridge shoes?!
At £35 not too pricey either.....but size 5 is sold out! I guess its not meant to be, unless I see them in store.
I'm making brownies.....is it wrong to lick the batter from the bowl?! Or just fat?!

Stuart Sutcliffe and Astrid Kirchherr
Last night I watched 'Stuart Sutcliffe: the Lost Beatle' on BBC4. Stuart was the original bassist of The Beatles for two years, he left the group to study art which was his main passion. The programme told of the groups stay in Hamburg, and featured the letters he wrote home to his mum and sister. Stuarts girlfriend Astrid was mentioned often in the letters, 'I'm still a bit sad that you think I’ve made a mess of my future, but out of it all I have something to really compensate – my love for Astrid which knows no boundaries and her love for me'. Astrid was immediately drawn to the Beatles when she fist saw them perform 'It was like a merry-go-round in my head, they looked absolutely astonishing... My whole life changed in a couple of minutes. All I wanted was to be with them and to know them'. Astrid and Stuart were later engaged in the same year they met(1960), Stuart lived with her after leaving the group but he became very ill and died of a brain hemorrhage in 1962 aged 21.
I'm really inspired by the late 50's and early 60's and Stuart and Astrid were such a beautiful couple, I can only imagine what it was like when the Beatles first started playing in hamburg, but this programme gave more insight into it.
I'll get back to a more fashion related post soon!

I Think You're Swell
Hey lovely people, hope you all had a great weekend!
To sum up my weekend:
Friday
After work I asked my friend Jessica if she fancied going out, was a last minute thing after work and I ended up wearing my pirate shirt from a few posts ago, but with my heeled brogues. Went to a couple of bars, then to a club and danced the night away. I'm debating putting afew pics up, I don't even know who half the people are! Oh well, here goes!
As you can see I acquired afew accessories though out the night including a flashing badge, garland and a straw hat.
Saturday
I got home at about 1ish, and had to meet my friend down Cowley road to do a bit of shopping. I was still felt pretty wasted. I just wanted to go to bed! We went to Costa coffee and had mango ice drinks, then to afew charity and vintage stores. I got to videos (buy 1 get 1 free in Bernardo's) Alive (amazing film!) and almost famous. I also got some pick and mix, and a sandwich. I'm too broke to buy anything nice! I did see heaps I wanted though. I got home and watched the x factor (so funny!, then Pop Britannia on BBC2, its a new series about the history of British pop music. It was quite interesting, and this episode was all about music in the last 50's - early 60's (love love love).
Arghhh the guys looked so cool, even Cliff Richard was cool back then!
I did want to watch one of The Beatles films A Hard Day's Night, but had to meet my boyfriend from the train station.
Sunday
Me and my boyf got up late, went into town, I had pick and mix again! Did a spot of people watching, then walked home. I took him on a less busy route home, and he noticed a comic store, so we browsed comics for a while and he got afew as inspiration for the comic hes starting (summer and seth much?).
I wore this, it's a peter pan collar dress, with my navy blue velvet coat.
I've felt really ill all weekend, so this post is rambling quite a bit!!!! Also I'm a bit sad as my best mate found out she got into her uni of choice, so she'll be moving back to Aussie, and my boyfriend is sorting out clearing for uni, and I just don't think things will work out. I know I can make the effort, but I'm not so sure he will.

I Think I'm In Love
I received an eBay package in the post today, it cost about £12 all together, bargain!!
It has huge shoulder pads which I'm very likely to remove as
they make me look like an American football player.
Bow detail, and crinkly upper material
I prefer strapless party dresses though.
My way of eBay buying is always strictly buy it now + lowest price first, and usually you have to scroll through afew pages to get to the lowest first stuff.
I very rarely bid on stuff, and if I do its always last minute, I find it all too stressful! Plus I always stick to my budget through buy it now.
I tried out some ideas for my lace bow
I like how it looks like a butterfly perched on the chain.
Dress-Primark(its a long tee really)
Glasses-H&M Men
Mary Janes-Primark
