I Wanna Talk Tonight..Until the Morning Light

Hmmm, my weekend was not as productive as I had hoped! After work on Friday I popped into town to buy magazines. Saturday I pretty much did nothing, I watched Friends and Come Dine With Me in bed whilst eating crisps. Sunday, I went into town and got a couple of Cd's and DVDs, yummy tiffins from Salisbury's and make up and toiletries. The pics of what I wore are pretty awful!!! I need to buy a new flash for my camera, plus my main light and one of my lamps bulbs blown during the weekend.

I Can't Read Lips

I promise to be better at posting, for lent I won't give anything up, I'll just give more posts.
I haven't really done much exciting things, just work work work. Tomorrow is pay day, and I am trying to be good with my money this month, I have no idea how I spent so much money with my last pay!!! I do intend on buying a big stack of magazines straight after work tomorrow, I can't wait!







I want to get my hair cut again, overall it still feels too long! I accidentally had my hair undercut the last time, half of the back of my head was really shaved!!!! Its growing quite quickly though, you my kinda be able to see it in one of the pics.
Does anyone have exciting plans for the weekend??? I'm doing nothing, I fancy being creative though.

Better Than Heaven

This week has gone way too quickly! Tomorrow is New Years Eve, I'm still not sure on what exactly I am doing.
I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas day. Mine was nice, lots of eating, plus evening time naps. I've consumed soooo much chocolate, pretzels, nuts and crisps.
I finally ventured to the sales on Sunday, didn't really find anything worth spending my money on except perfume, shorts, and tights. I could not sleep at all so I watched Sixteen Candles and Almost Famous. On Monday I went to get my haircut, the girl who usually does it has moved on so I was a bit nervous about somebody else cutting it. It's not exactly how I usually like it, but its fine. Then I went to Reading to see him in the evening (he worked all the from 8pm Sunday till 6am Monday so he could skip working 7-11pm Monday for me to see him earlier..). I wore a black floaty smock dress with my other pair of floral tights, black patent ankle boots and my mac (the rechargeable batteries from my camera are completely dying on me so I haven't been able to take any outfit pictures). We lazed about, got up so so so late today, but it was nice to do nothing.

I wore this at some point over a week ago for drinkies, I have no pictures to post so this will do!



Tomorrow I will be buying new rechargeable batteries, exciting. Maybe some mixers for booze, we have plenty of alcohol at home but not enough juice and fizzy. I may also pop to a couple of vintage stores to see if I can find a pretty dress to wear.

here is what I wore tonight....I just took the pics, my battery was almost dead, so they are not the best. I also wore almost the same thing (minus the faux fur collar) whilst meeting him last night. We had a lovely time, I think he got a bit annoyed when I started singing High School Musical songs to him this morning to wake him up. I should be seeing him Monday, and also getting my haircut.

The hardest thing you'll ever learn. Is just to love and be loved in return.

We stayed in from Friday-Sunday night, it was nice. The train journey home was so dull. But the walk home was pretty, the frost on the pavement sparkled, it was magical.

Today was horrible getting up, I wanted to go back to sleep. Work was good though, the new job is going well. I work with lovely people. Every Tuesday theres a cake morning with free cakes and pastries for staff. Tomorrow I will eat lots of yummy cake. Then at 1 we finish early to go to a conference in Leeds, till Thursday. So I may make a sheduled post tonight.

New dress...I may return it. It's a big too big on the bust.

Today has been quite good, I went into work, there had been a power cut so I was sent home, and still get my full pay. I just wish I'd made more of my day, I started tidying, but it didn't really get far, I managed to put everyone from my floor on to my bed, hoover, and it's still on my bed now.

Anyway here's what I wore today. Note, I NEVER wear jeans, but I did for a few hours today. This is way too boyish for me, but it was warm, and fine for staying at home.




I noticed specks of glitter on my floor, in an area which I'd hoovered about 20 mins before. I like to think it's magical fairy dust.
You can just about make out the dots.....

It's all I know...

I hope everyone had a lovely Monday, can Monday's ever be good?!
I had planned to catch up with blogs over the weekend, I ended up not really using the computer though (little brother had lots of work to do).
On Saturday I had a long lie in, then popped into town to buy some nice snacks, and a nice new mug. Here is what i wore, quite trashy/trampy (I showed my ex boyfriend a pic of the coat, his reply was 'need a lift darlin?' haha!').



I watched The X Factor, had yummy sweet potato risotto for dinner, and baked apricot and white chocolate biscuits.

On Sunday I watched films while snuggled up in bed, started my attempt at one of Camille's shredded tees. It's really hurting my head, I get really annoyed with painstaking things like this. It looks really good though, although Camille does a much better job! I also baked some pretty cakes with pink and blue icing and coloured sprinkles and hearts.

Friday is my last ever day at work! Also payday, so a shopping trip is in order, I have a huge lack of clothes. I', so so so tired, hopefully tomorrow I will finally get round to reading lots of your blog entries. Good night, sweet dreams.
